Hi! My name is Kenah Kepper, and I just recently graduated from LSU with a degree in Interior Design. I love all things related to family, friends, baking, design, and my dog Tater!

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My parents are Kenny and Kara Kepper, and my two brothers are Kade and Ky. Being stuck in the middle isn’t always the most fun, but being the only girl definitely has its perks.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I currently work for Homestead Flooring Co as a Sales and Design Associate. I love that I get to use my design degree and experience as well as learn a new trade in sales. I love helping people so I always look forward to helping our customers with flooring and design decisions.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Tsunami is currently my top favorite!

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
My whole 22 years of life.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
I would definitely have to say my younger brother. He’s always keeping me on my toes and he is always unpredictable.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
New York City! Being a designer, I feel like I have to go at least once.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
One Tree Hill will always have a special place in my heart.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Follow Jesus, plain and simple.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
I would love to go to Bora Bora and stay in one of those huts over the water!

Q: What is your go-to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Justin Bieber all the way!

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
The former Cactus Cafe. My family used to go there every Sunday after church. We would always sit at the same table, and my Grampa would always give me a quester after we ate so I could go get a gum ball.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Hmm I would want to have lunch with a few of my high school teachers. I had a few that were influential in my life and played a part in me going to college and pursuing interior design, and I would love to be able to thank them and update them on where I am now in life!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
The feeling of home that it brings me. It’s the perfect in between of city and rural.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Married with kids, hopefully, a stay-at-home mom with some interior design jobs on the side!

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I care about my people more than they know. My family, my friends, and the people closest to me are the most important people in my life.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been? Why did it make such an impression on you?
I haven’t been to too many places but one of the coolest places I’ve been to was Chicago. The most beautiful thing to me was being able to see all the different types and styles of architecture reflecting off of one another. Each building was so unique.

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and the best single day on the calendar?
December because of Christmas and just the overall season and being able to spend lots of time with my family.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Healthy Vibes loaded teas, particularly the flavor Hurricane!

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My parents, each and every day.

Q: If you stop at the corner gas station, what is the one food item that is begging you to purchase?
A Snickers. Hands down

Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Family, Tater, & Game Night
