I’ve lived in the Baton Rouge area all of my life and graduated in 1982 from Denham Springs High where I played summer league football and baseball. I have been married to my wife Collandra for 23 years. I enjoy sports college and pro football loved marvel movies, traveling, coffee shops, and missions trips. I am also a motivational speaker and life coach who received certification from Light University. I really enjoy personal development books and podcasts.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My parents met in Alabama but moved to Louisiana. My mother taught school in the Livingston parish school system while also conducting business as an insurance agent. My father worked in the iron industry and played semi-pro baseball for the Vulcan Foundry. My dad served in the army along with my uncles and cousins. Sports was a big part of my family growing up.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
In my current job as a porter, I have the opportunity to interact with many people daily. My previous work was in the auto insurance industry call center as a customer service representative and trainer in Document Management. I really enjoy meeting different people and love the opportunity to train customer service representatives.

I love Chilli’s, City Cafe & Outback steakhouse, Longhorn
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I am a lifelong resident of the Baton Rouge area.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Wow…one time at the airport I had the opportunity to meet a bunch of WCW wrestlers…they are an interesting bunch for sure!
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Paris, France The scenery Eifel tower…not to mention this is my wife’s favorite place to visit.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
My favorite movie is the first Iron Man…TV has to be Arrow…that was a great show!
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Learn to serve within your talents and gifts. Sow into other people’s lives always.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Find the best places to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Sydney, Australia, and while we are there make sure to catch the opera!

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
There was a hamburger stand just down the street from me when I was a kid…can’t remember the name of it.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

A published author, life coaching, travel more, and real estate.

I enjoy hero cartoons and want to learn different languages even take up self-defense
